Dar‑Al Arqam is a Qur’anic studies program dedicated to teaching students how to read the Qur’an correctly, apply tajweed with confidence, and memorize the Book of Allah with consistency and love.


وَرَتِّلِ الْقُرْآنَ تَرْتِيلًا

“And recite the Qur’an with measured recitation.” (Al‑Muzzammil 73:4)


ABOUT OUR SCHOOL

Our curriculum combines tajweed rules, fluent reading, and structured hifz plans, supported by teachers who are passionate about Qur’an and character building. We emphasize clarity, discipline, and consistent progress.


OUR IMAM & LEAD INSTRUCTOR

Dar‑Al Arqam is led by Imam Muhammed Sacko, the Imam of the Islamic Center of Omaha. He has served the Omaha Muslim community for several years through teaching, khutbahs, counseling, and community leadership.

He brings over 13 years of experience as a Resident Scholar, a Master’s degree in Islamic Studies, and ongoing doctoral work in Leadership & Education. His teaching blends traditional Qur’anic learning with modern educational structure, emphasizing clarity, discipline, and strong character.

BEGINNER READING

Arabic alphabet, pronunciation, and foundational reading skills.

TAJWEED & FLUENCY

Makharij, tajweed rules, and smooth recitation with correction.

PARTIAL & FULL HIFZ

Structured memorization with daily lessons and revision cycles.


SCHOOL STATUS

Dar‑Al Arqam currently operates as a traditional Qur’an school while Imam Muhammed completes the licensing process required by Nebraska state law.
